Consultancy work with a major chain of high street opticians. The identified role was to facilitate the introduction of a robust improvement in the service offering to the customer. The first phase was to scope the issues, identifying areas of improvement. GCM Solutions therefore chaired the meetings and facilitated the introduction of the plan. The role required creating a team from the client and their supplier; creating an agenda and timeline; managing and resolving conflict; working with key parties to ensure ongoing progress; developing an implementation plan; and ensuring it met the timing plan, and delivered the required improvement. GCM Solutions moved on to develop strategies for further enhancing the service offered to the customer, and also ensuring that any change was done in the most cost effective way.
